Pirate Coffee is a rebranding concept based on an existing coffee product, redesigned as part of a visual exploration project.
The original brand was reimagined to create a stronger identity built around contrast, origin and storytelling.
The goal was to develop a cohesive system that connects flavor profiles with a distinctive visual language and a more memorable brand presence.

Context / Challenge / Outcome

The packaging system builds on an initial real-world project, reworked and expanded as part of a broader rebranding exploration.

Starting from an existing product structure, the design was re-evaluated to create a more distinctive and cohesive visual identity, while preserving the functional constraints of a commercial coffee package.

A neutral kraft base was selected to ground the product and enhance contrast, allowing the color-coded label system to clearly communicate origin and intensity across the range.
Each variant was developed within a consistent framework, balancing expressive illustration with a structured layout that prioritizes readability and hierarchy.

The process involved iterative mockups to test scale, placement and visual impact in realistic scenarios, ensuring the packaging performs effectively both on shelf and in digital contexts.

The final result is a refined system that bridges concept and application, translating an existing product into a more memorable and visually cohesive brand experience.
